The Opportunity --

The Director of FP&A is a key role that leads critical planning and analysis functions and supports financial, business, and strategic decision-making across SigFig. This is a highly visible position working closely with the c-suite and senior leadership. It will require you to have demonstrated a consistent record in business partnership and business analytics and the ability to tell a story through data to enable informed decisions. The position also requires an individual who understands how to get things done through influence and collaboration. This role reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for all aspects of financial planning.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead, plan, and direct the development and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, working across all functional areas of the business, and institute monthly reporting / tracking and reviews.
  • Apply an analytical approach to influence strategic decision-making, with a focus on capital allocation decisions and long-term financial planning.
  • Structure, build, and maintain complex financial and decision-making models to develop meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate and advise on growth opportunities such as new product launches, international expansion, and business model changes.
  • Hire, lead, and grow the right team to support SigFig’s rapid growth.

Ideal SigFigian for this Role:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • 6+ years of experience in high growth tech finance function, investment banking, or private equity with progressive responsibility
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to build and analyze financial models
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated track record for building collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization
