The Team -- Engineering Team

SigFig’s B2B2C business model relies heavily on our ability to advise and partner with our enterprise clients to drive digital transformation. The Engineering Team builds end-to-end professional services for our enterprise clients helping to reimagine, design, execute and operate new ways to make financial advice more accessible to their clients. This team does this by leading multi-functional initiatives working side-by-side with enterprise clients and all of the functional areas within SigFig including engineering, marketing, product, customer success, business development and SigFig’s executive leadership team.

The Opportunity -- Technical Project Manager (TPM)

The TPM organization is responsible for leading our complex operating relationships with established enterprise clients, and building out scalable operations across several product lines. As a Technical Project Manager on the team, you will develop trusted relationships across both SigFig and enterprise client organizations, lead technical projects that span SigFig and client team members, manage production operations, and drive escalated issues to resolution. Additionally, you will lead multi-functional teams to define effective operating models and new processes.

You will flourish solving meaningful problems and leading both internal and client teams to get results. This role will report to the TPM Manager with extensive multi-functional and external interaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead: Work closely with SigFig engineers, product and project staff, you will be responsible for the technical integration of SigFig’s products with partner systems through all phases of the integration life cycle; be accountable for technical delivery through planning, development, testing and release
  • Drive: Track release milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to be coordinated for delivery
  • Guide: Provide guidance to project trends including timeliness, and quality; intervene and raise as necessary to keep things on track, and apply strategic proactive thinking to improve future delivery
  • Influence: Meet with financial institutions to understand business goals, feature requirements, and technical capabilities; provide thought partnership to key technical stakeholders both within partner organizations and SigFig, to influence and drive key design and process decisions to align with business objectives
  • Triage: Demonstrate technical skills to triage incoming issues and direct them to the appropriate resources

Ideal SigFigian for this Role

  • 5+ years of experience leading technology projects and portfolios of concurrent programs at different stages of execution.
  • Familiarity working with SSO solutions, email systems, e-signature providers, financial data, multi-tenant web infrastructure, third party integrations, or build and release tools
  • Experience working with US and Canadian banks
  • Experience working with Auth0, AWS infrastructure
  • Ability to accommodate occasional travel as needed (10%)
